Be sure to write down the "booking number" the jail will give you. This is how the jail system identifies thier numerous inmates.

The Lynwood Jail is the main women's facility in Los Angeles County. Women are transfered here from all over Los Angeles. This is a very high volume jail. The process of bailing out of the Century Station can take up to 8 hours once a bail bond has been posted for the defendant to be released, sometimes longer depending on current conditions. We have done hundreds of bails from the Century Station Facility and will do everything we can to make this process go smoothly.

If you choose not to post a bail bond for the defendant he or she will then be awaiting there arraignment date. This is typically 2 business days after they are arrested. From that point it is up to the court as to when the defendant may be released or sentanced for a longer period.
